New this year, the Hampton High School website will spotlight faculty and staff “Featured Faculty” and “Superb Support Staff” Our first two Superb Support Staff Members are Mr. George Stanley and Mr. Terence Green of our custodial department.
Mr. George Stanley has been at Hampton High School since 1992. He is the Lead Custodian at HHS. When asked what brought him to Hampton High School, Mr. Stanley shared, “I didn’t choose Hampton High School; it chose me and I love it!” He enjoys working at Hampton for many reasons – one of which is that he gets along with everyone - faculty, staff, students, parents, and his co-workers. He shared that Hampton has been really good to him and very supportive of him when his daughter was involved in a serious accident. Mr. Stanley’s favorite quote is, “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.” We are honored to have Mr. Stanley as part of our Crabber Family and glad HHS chose him!
Mr. Terence Green has been with HHS for about eight years as Night Lead Custodian. Actually, he has been a part of HHS even longer, as he graduated with the Class of 1982! He shared he loved it so much at Hampton High School that he came back! We are glad he did! Mr. Green shared that he really enjoys working at Hampton High School because he likes working with the people here and certainly with the students. When asked if he’d like to share anything else about himself, he smiled and asserted, “I AM A CRABBER!” |
