New this year, the Hampton High School website will spotlight faculty and staff “Featured Faculty” and “Superb Support Staff” Our first two Featured Faculty Members are Ms. Jennifer Markham and Ms. Stephanie Cartwright.
Ms. Markham is our GEAR UP Grant Coordinator/College & Career Coach. She was born at Ft. Leonardwood, MO and has moved 7 times before graduating from high school in Guilford, CT and has resided in VA since 2004. She adapts to change well! Ms. Markham earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate at Regent University where she expects to graduate in May 2014. Ms. Markham has exciting things planned for our students for this school year! Stay tuned!
Ms. Cartwright is the GEAR UP Parent Involvement Facilitator at Hampton High School. She comes to us from her hometown of Portsmouth, VA. Ms. Cartwright earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Management from Regent University. Ms. Cartwright shared that she became an educator to make a positive impact on the lives of students and families, that would engage students in the process of reaching their full potential, both academically and professionally. Ms. Cartwright has several wonderful events planned for our parents and families this year! |
