Mrs. Stephanie Cartwright, HHS Parent Involvement Facilitator, nominated for the Michael Canty Award, was recently recognized at the PTA Council Dinner for her exceptional work and dedication to engaging parents and families. Mrs. Cartwright is a vital bridge between school and home. She spends countless hours calling parents regarding upcoming events, whether GEAR UP sessions for college planning, informing them of PTSA efforts and how to become involved with PTSA, providing information about college tours, setting up career sessions, and so much more. We are very grateful to have Mrs. Cartwright at HHS! Congratulations, Mrs. Cartwright!
Here is a copy of Joshua William's National PTA Award of Merit piece. The theme was, "The Magic of a Moment". Joshua's art reflects how he feels when he listens to music. The Hampton High Art Department applauds Joshua's national recognition!

Shayla Marrow recently enlisted in the U.S. Army. She is an HHS senior and JROTC cadet. Throughout her tenure at HHS, Shayla has been a model student and cadet exemplifying HHS's core values as well as those of JROTC. We are very proud of Shayla and grateful of her future serving as a U.S. Army Soldier and have no doubt she will exemplify the Army Core Values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.
